AFFIRMATION OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND LEARNING (APEL)-WHO IS IT FOR?

UK-CCL has developed a methodology called Affirmation of Prior Experience and Learning (APEL) by helping society to recognize people’s experiences, by offering credit units towards a professional Knowledge Qualification or other qualification.

Adults who want a second chance; those who are returning to education after a career break or those who want to improve their career prospects can apply through the APEL scheme. At whatever stage one is in, the APEL path would support personal and professional development. APELencourages:

REQUIREMENTS FOR APEL REPRESENTATION

  1. The Organization must be registered as a legal learning entity with the provision of Learning and Training facilities.
  2. A copy of the Certificate of Incorporation must be submitted
  3. A list of Partners/Directors and Management Executives of the establishment together with their experience with detailed CVs must be submitted.
  4. Professionally Qualified and Experienced personnel who could deliver learning training and can perform the Evaluation, Assessment, and Verifications.
  5. The organization must have sufficient infrastructure to facilitate the learning in accordance with the UK-CCL ProfessionalQuality Management Standards of ISO 9001:2015.
  6. The full list of names of Tutorial/Training Staff with their respective area of specialization and CVs has to be submitted.
  7. The UK-CCL will independently conduct their own verification through their respective Country’s National Representative Office.
  8. A copy of the current Prospectus with the learning and training plan and advertisement campaign has to be forwarded.
  9. The organization must meet local government requirements with regard to health and safety and other legal requirements.

ACCREDITATION OF CAREER PROGRESS DEVELOPMENT (ACPD) WHO IS THIS SCHEME FOR?


The ACPD scheme is an alternate towards the path to Universities and Professional Bodies. This scheme would be very suitable for busy working professionals who have an abundance of knowledge, skill, and ability. All candidates will be scrutinized to show if they possess evidence of this attainment/quality, before being considered for the scheme and the particular award.

Thus, high caliber and dynamic candidates, who have acquired and developed their skills through career progress development programs, would be awarded professional degrees through the Accreditation of Career Progress Development (ACPD) scheme. In addition to the vast knowledge and expertise that they have, candidates would be required to submit a Project Paper in their area of work and expertise, to complete the final qualification.ACPD encourages:

  4. Photocopies of Qualifications and Certificates.
  5. Photocopies of letters related to work experience.
  6. Two passport-sized color photographs
  7. Registration fee (non-refundable) payable to UK COMMISSION FOR CONSISTENT LEARNING
