UK Commission For Consistant Learning - UKCCL
Consistant Learning refers to the process of continuously acquiring knowledge and skills throughout one’s life, whether through formal education or informal means. This can include things like taking classes, attending workshops, participating in training programs, or simply reading and educating oneself on a variety of subjects.
Converting work experience into recognized qualifications is a way for individuals to gain formal recognition for the skills and knowledge they have acquired through on-the-job training and experience. This can be done through a process called “prior learning assessment and recognition” (PLAR) or “credit for prior learning” (CPL).
PLAR and CPL programs evaluate an individual’s work experience and knowledge and may grant college credits or award a formal degree or certification. These programs are often offered by educational institutions, professional organizations, and other groups.
